Last night I went to bed a 1:30am. My alarm started its Harp at 4:30am. I crawled across the room to turn it off. I always put my alarm clock well across the room. I feel it's a reflex to turn it off. You can probably turn it off in your sleep. That's a lot harder to do if you have to get up to turn it off. The reason I crawl is because my bed is on the floor. When we moved down here we didn't take a frame for the bed so we just put the mattress on the ground.
Historically, 3 hours of sleep is a guaranteed snooze. 4 hours of sleep isn't ideal but I can function at a high level. 5 hours of sleep is the sweet spot for me. Getting 6 hours of sleep is kind of a fantasy and 8 hours is the unicorn. Somehow, some way, I motivated myself out of bed and into the bathroom to start my process.
When I made it outside to begin my run I felt slow but good. I almost didn't change my pace. It was a very easy day. The biggest accomplishment was getting up to make it to the front door.
When I returned I had to shower and get ready to go. I ran early enough that it wa still dark. Sometimes on these runs I can feel like I have entire city to myself .
After everything was done I decided to go to this restaurant called Homegrown. I never eat at a restaurant alone but I need to really sit down and gather my thought
